Halloween Themes

Since 2021, we’ve partnered with Rivian to help bring their vehicles to life through sound — both inside and out. tells the story of our foundational audio design language that blends nature with technology. Together, we've extended that language into new experiences and touchpoints. From lighting themes to Launch Mode, we've used the power of sound to transport users from Glacier Fogs to Pacific Sunsets. Around All Hallows' Eve, however, you can hear a chill in the air in Crimson Moon and Foggy Bog.

Audio Activations

For the last few years, we've had the opportunity to give Rivian vehicles a haunting twist for Halloween. Eerie soundscapes, spooky SFX, and thematic variations help to get drivers, passengers, and fans in the spirit. Each year gets its own theme, accompanied by special auditory activations.

Unlocking New Sounds

The iconic bluebird lock chirp sound was the first to dress up for Halloween, and it was a hoot 🦉. Continuing our nature theme, we added owls and crows to the family of lock sounds. Some settings allowed users to play the bluebird by day, and the Halloween version at night 🔐🌙.

Spooky Lock Sounds

Over the years, we've created variations on the lock sound. In the animal kingdom, we have cawing crows and hooting owls. We also have a special two-part call-and-response twist on a classic.
